My 2015 Make-Up Favourites

Whoa I know this has probably been said a million times, but I cannot believe that a whole year has passed already, this has been such a great year for me. As the saying goes time flies when you are having fun!

I decided to round up my favourite products from this year. This year I tried so many different products and have found some firm staples in my collection. I think this year has been such a great year for me Make-Up wise, I trained to be a make-up artist in 2012 and I really feel that this year I really found my confidence when it comes to make-up, hence why I have finally started this blog which I have been talking about for a long time.

I thought it was going to be really hard to pick my favourite products but when I started going through my make-up collection I couldn’t believe how quickly I picked everything.

So let’s get onto my favourite products………………….

Charlotte Tilbury Wonder glow

This was a discovery late on in the year but definitely a firm favourite. It really does give that glow from within. I apply it all over my face before my primer and foundation. I have really oily skin so need to set my foundation with powder, but the glow still peeks through my matte powder without making me look oily. I love this product.

MAC Pro Long Wear Foundation

This is one of my favourite foundations which I always go back to time and time again. Its long lasting with great coverage. I use this guy so much that I am currently scrapping product from the bottle, I will definitely be repurchasing this.

MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer

This is a great all-rounder concealer; I use it under my eyes as well as on my blemishes. The coverage is just fantastic.

MAC Studio Fix powder

Technically this is a powder foundation but I like to use it as a setting powder. I have quite problematic skin, so by using this over my foundation it gives me flawless skin as well as lasting all day on my oily skin.

MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralise Skin Finish

This is a cult beauty product and one that gets a lot of mention on the internet. I only purchased it about three months ago and I love it. I don’t know why I waited so long to get it. It is such a beautiful product which can be used for a subtle glow or you could go all out with it depending on what you like. If you don’t own this beauty you need to buy it!

NARS Orgasm Blush

Another guy that gets a lot of mention in the internet world and for good reason. This has been a favourite of mine for a long time. I especially love it when I am bronzed up. It is very shimmery and glowy which may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Maybelline Master Sculpt Shade 02

This is a perfect contouring shade for me. The colour is just perfection. It doesn’t go on to heavy which is perfected for anyone who is heavy handed with your make-up brushes. It builds really well. This is a bargain product at €10.49 for a contour and a highlighter. I’m not to pushed on the highlighter but if I were stuck I would definitely use it.

Urban Decay Flushed Palette

This is such a handy little palette to have in your day to day make-up bag. I always reach for this when I only have a few minutes to get my face in. The palette has a bronzer, blush and highlighter in it. Perfect for when you are on the go.

Urban Decay Primer Potion

I have been using this product for years and always repurchase it. I have super oily eyelids. This stuff is great although I don’t have any to compare it to because I found it to work so well I have never felt the need to look for others.

MAC Paint Pot Painterly

I’d say this is one of my most used products in my eye collection. I use this pretty much every time I do my make-up as well as when I do others. Its the perfect colour to use under any eyeshadow. If your eyelids aren’t to oily you could use this alone as your eyeshadow primer.

Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

This is by far my favourite eyeshadow palette; it has a bit of everything in it. Cool and warm tone browns, a black as well as a selection of shimmers that can be used wet or dry to create a ton of different looks. A must have in everyone’s collection.

Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara

This is a great wee mascara, it adds volume and length without the clumps. If this mascara was waterproof it would be perfect. If I wear it when I am going out I just apply a layer of waterproof mascara on top, just to seal it into place.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip brow Pomade

I picked this guy up when I was on honeymoon last year and I love it. It’s great for a sharp brow and for filling in gaps where the hair is a little sparse. It’s not the easiest product to use at the start but once you get the hang of it is a beautiful product. Once it sets it isn’t going anywhere until you take it off at the end of the day. Smudge proof!

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Pencil Pillow Talk

This pencil has pretty much replaced all my other pencils. I love it so much I actually own two. It is the perfect my lips but better colour. It is long lasting and very easy to apply it is also really comfortable on the lips.

MUD Lady Bug Lipstick

This is my favourite red lipstick. It is the perfect shade of red that would suit so many people. The formula is beautiful and really long lasting.

MAC Pink Pearl Pop Lipstick

this is such a beautiful everyday shade. I love this with my CT Pillow talk lip pencil, which changes the colour up a bit. It is also beautiful on its own a real spring pink shade.

Rimmel Kate Moss Nude Shade 45

this is such a pretty nude but not too nude. It is such a beautiful pinkie brown colour which goes with any makeup look. These lipsticks feel really good on and go on really easy. Wouldn’t last as long as some of my other lipsticks but for the price I can deal with that.

I would love to hear some of your make-up favourites for 2015.

if your looking for a eye primer instead of the urban decay, try benefit stay don’t stray, it’s amazing I’ve used if for years, and your eyeshadow does not budge all day, it really is worth a try. Although they changed the packaging to a wand instead of a pump which is annoying, the pump was way better!
